Dexcom G6 sensors last ten days and function well. They make accurate glucose level measurements, so they do not need to be replaced often.

The Dexcom G6 receiver resembles a small smartphone. It obtains information from the transmitter and shows real-time blood glucose level data on its screen. The receiver also gives a graph of the trend in glucose levels over time.

The transmitter battery lasts 3 months. We recommend you have your next transmitter in your hand within 3 months of activating the preceding transmitter. You can reuse the transmitter for your next session if you've not gotten your last 10-day transmitter battery life notice.

Yes. Dexcom G7 can show glucose on multiple devices: your phone, smartwatch, and Dexcom receiver or connected AID (Automated Insulin Delivery) system, all simultaneously, in real time, and independently of each other.
