How to Use the Bio Compression SC-2004-DL

Before using the compression pump, please reference the instructions manual.

1. Unpack & Set Up the Pump

Unbox the pump and check for all components in the box:

• Pump unit
• Blocker bar (for single-limb use)
• Power cord
• Instruction manual

– Place the pump on a flat, sturdy surface near a comfortable chair, bed, or sofa.
-Plug the power cord into the back of the pump, then into an electrical outlet.

2. Connect the Garments

If using one limb, attach the blocker bar to block airflow. If using two limbs, remove the blocker bar.
Use the quick-connect system to attach tubes from the garments to the pump:

• Match chamber numbers (1-4) on the latch connector with the pump.
• Squeeze the clip and insert it into the port.
• Repeat for a second garment if needed.

3. Prepare for Treatment

• Wear loose, lightweight clothing (without zippers, buttons, or tight fabrics).
• For leg garments: Unzip the sleeve, place your heel at the bottom, and pull it up using the straps. Zip up securely.
• For arm garments: Slide your arm through the sleeve, ensuring fingers are comfortably inside and hand is flat.

4. Adjust Pump Settings

Press and hold the Set button for 5 seconds to enter setup mode.
Adjust the settings using the Up/Down buttons:

• Pressure: Set between 10-120 mmHg, then press Set.
• Cycle Time: Set between 60-120 seconds, then press Set.
• Treatment Time: Adjust as prescribed, then press Set.
• Continuous Mode: Press Up until “Con” appears, then press Set.
• Focus Therapy (optional): Select specific chambers or turn it off, then press Set.

5. Start Treatment

• Sit in a reclined position with your legs elevated.
• Press the Power button.
• The pump will begin inflating each chamber sequentially.

6. Adjust Settings During Treatment

To change pressure while running:

• Press and hold Up until “Hold” appears.
• Once “Set” appears, adjust pressure and press Set.
• The pump will restart with the new setting.

To pause treatment:

• Press Play/Pause, wait for “Pause” to appear, then remove garments if needed.
• To resume, wear the garments and press Play/Pause again.

7. End Treatment

• The pump will turn off automatically after a timed session.
• If using continuous mode, press the Power button to stop.
• To deflate garments quickly, bend your limb, unzip, and remove.

8. Reset the Pump (If needed)

• With the pump plugged in but off, press and hold Up, Down, and Set for 5 seconds.
• When the LED screen lights up, release the buttons.
• Press Set once to reset the pump to factory settings.
